If the product doesn't cost too much and a 3-pin (prong_ plug is available, I prefer to snip the plug re-wire for use of the 3 prong.
Edit: This also depends on the multiplug as well. A decently-built multiplug makes good enough provision for 3, 2 and 2 (round) prong plugs. Older versions are crappy and the plug pops out at even the slightest pull, knock or nudge.
