Need For Speed’s New Screenshots Look Gorgeous

Say what you will about the upcoming Need for Speed, and its always online requirement ruining any excitement you had for the game, it is impossible to deny that the game looks gorgeous and beautiful. Like so many of its fellow racing games this generation – Mario Kart 8, DriveClub, Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsport 6 – Need for Speed looks striking.

The cars look absolutely incredible. What is more, you will be able to customize everything about them- from their wheels, tires, rims, brake discs, hoods, bumpers, headlights, wing mirrors, exhausts, to tuning their engines and suspension to even changing the license plates, everything is fair game, and everything can be changed and spruced to your liking, just like the old school Need for Speed Underground games.

Need for Speed will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in November this year.

Witcher 3 started looking more stale the closer it got to release. At least NFS looks consistently beautiful so far and release is only 2 months away...

It's using the Frostbite 3 Engine, it's pretty stable by now.

Those screen shots don't really show anything I want to see screens of gameplay footage on console.

*Yawn* I want actual game play. Not the 30 minute timed demo that everyone has got. The customisation has only shown the body work that can be done. I want to see how the engine can be modified too.
