A standard wired xbox 360 remote works perfectly, and they're pretty cheap, can pick them up for around R300-R400 at the right shop
Reavs - Maybe I'm being stupid here, but how does head tracking work on a fixed monitor ? You still have to look at your screen out of the corner of your eye? Or is it meant to be used with multiple displays ?Originally Posted by Reavs

I would go for the first one simply because all the games that use controllers give you the xbox button prompts which, on that controller, are the right colours. But yes, if you have the money you should definitely invest in an xbox controller. They're robust, there's no dead zones, and you have the correct button prompts on screen.
I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. The F710 is about the same size as the XBOX 360 controller, but way more comfortable and grippy due to the rubberising. The controls are accurate and I've never experienced any "dead zones" to speak of. Just pick it up, you won't regret it.![]()

Not familiar with the controllers at all, but I assume if you're eyeing them over the Xbox controller they must be significantly cheaper. I bought mine for R450 at BT, but I see on their site (and Takealot) that they go for over R600 now, which is definitely a bit steep. If you can't go for that, then I'd go for the Logitech. As someone else mentioned, the button colours correspond with the Xbox's, so it will help in not confusing the Xbox button prompts.
