Here my extra 2c about the topic (adding fuel to the fire)

Maybe they should rethink there business model. They train/give ideas people to steal( example GTA) or take what is not used(Tomb raider). Maybe they should make games where you do good and not take what you need to complete your mission. And market there games that say spend hard earned money. Like the Sims. Yes I know it's all boring but they trained us to think like crooks. And then they complain when we act like there games

In a nut shell what I want to get to is. They bring up unwanted forces in us ( a urge to take what not u ours to take) and then there marketing makes us want the game. End result is piracy which is the virus of our hobby. Yes this sounded much better in my head

Here's the original Piracy Thread that we started on MyGaming way back when:

And here was my 5c ...

I doubt it's necessary to quote all 11 pages of what was said, but it makes for an interesting read...or not.

Err I said I wont get involved anymore but I find this rather amusing. So basically you are saying dont make games with Violence/Nudity/Sex/Bad language and or adult content and make more stroke my horsey games and piracy will decrease?........ O.K.A.Y

By the same logic, people playing games like GTAIV would go out and murder people too. I think any intelligent gamer knows this isn't true. :P

If you are saying they shouldn't make GTA anymore then I totally disagree with your point, and GTA never had any instance of piracy in it FYI
