one title i might definitely give a pass. just imagine playing dead space and on each scare your character you play gasps in game. this makes me think of those added laughter sounds in comedies...

Frictional Games has launched the official website for Amnesia: The Dark Descent, the upcoming survival/horror game for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The upcoming game from the creators of the Penumbra series is described as a title which will take players on a 'thrill-ride through the depths of madness and explore the dark side of human emotions.' It follows the tale of a protagonist on the run from a horrifying foe.

WEll, I've been following this for quite some time as I own all 3 Penumbra games, which were some of the best (yet unknown) FPS Puzzle horror games out there. I think it's going to rock cause they basically improved on everything that Penumbra set out to do.
