Default Call of Duty Black Ops 3: PS3/Xbox 360 Frame Rate Revealed, Season Pass Details And More

The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be very scaled back – they won’t even have a single player campaign, playable solo or co-op – to the extent that most of the major eSports features in the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will also be missing.

“Features built to leverage the next generation hardware like the new Weapon Paint Shop and the new suite of eSports tools, including CODCasting and Theater will only be available on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC,” Activision said. They also confirmed that the performance of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will scale between 30 and 60FPS during multiplayer, and be locked to 30FPS in Zombies mode. Yuck.

Activision has also confirmed that the last gen versions of the game will not be getting any post launch DLC- the Season Pass is available only for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions. So… yeah, if you are buying the last gen versions of this game, you really are getting boned. At least you are getting Zombies, though.

Next time, Activision, just don’t make a version for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, instead of half assing it like this.

What's the point of getting it on 360/ps3?? I feel like a lot of the games that are ported backward fall into the same trap of sacrificing features that attracts people to play it.

only when shit devs work on something then the backport looks like crap, look at how good the titanfall 360 port ended up being or how pretty good the 360 version of the upcoming tomb raider is looking, little big planet 3 ps3 port etc. Gta 5 had a bigger open world and probably has more stuff running underneath and it ran fine on the previous gen consoles, it was not a backport but still considering the amount of stuff rockstar has achieved with the limited resources available. treyarch is just making an excuse to push sales of the next gen versions.
