I really hope this lack of access is temporary.

Unfortunately, this is a ban-able offence according to Steam's terms of use. You will naturally need to create an account and use a VPN service. If you get caught doing this, your US account will be banned and taken from you.

Yep, that's why I specifically say in my posts that it must be priced in Rand. We have to make our voices heard! Before the sales are coming!

As opposed to the R853.20 it would've been before "the change"? (taken at R14.22 to the US$, as per Google at 07:30 on 11/11/2015)

I added to your post. 11/51 wishlist games not prices is not cool!

Well, I now have R37.69 (hehe), so they converted at R14.33 to the dollar. I turned a profit!

Pathetic. Buying on Steam is dead to me now. Guess it is a good thing. Give our local shops a chance to make sales again.

Just makes you wonder why they even bothered to support the Rand. Maybe MYGAMING can contact them to find out and write an article on it?

Most things are cheaper now I agree with this change.
Seems like most games are converted at somewhere at the R11/$ rate
