Well the fact at $0.67 = R9.60 So I wont complain. I have heard that there are some games that we don't have access too now, but not a clue if this is true or not.

Yup, I agree completely. EA and Ubisoft games were already priced in rands on Origin. I think the reason Fallout is so much more expensive than AC:Syndicate is because Bethesda doesn't actually know that local pricing for big AAA games is around R600. Or maybe they do and they just want to milk some extra cash out of people.

I'm looking for some other examples. On Origin, The Witcher 3 is R500. On Steam it's R589, but currently on sale for R412. Far Cry 4 is R379 on Origin, but R500 on Steam. Similarly AC:Unity is R379 on Origin, but R500 on Steam. Hopefully these prices get adjusted, because it's pretty stupid to have two different prices on a platforms that both sell in rands.

What I'm more surprised about, I was expecting a more cut and paste approach by steam, every game that's $60 is now R800 and so on. But that doesn't seem to be the case. So far it looks like everything is at least slightly cheaper.

Deus Ex : Mankind Divided @ R500 , XCOM2 @ R580, Total War :Warhammer @ R600 , Hitman @ R500 , The Division @R600. I am very tempted to pre-order a ton of freaking games at those prices. What's the odds local retailers will have those prices by the time those games release? Zero.

My word, all those games are games I want. Thanks for the good news. Deus Ex being a game I will get on release, The Division a potential, still need to see more game info before I decide.

One day, I'll grow up and become responsible.
    Probably not today.

Am I the only one who thinks the market place is now more confusing? I have no idea if the prices are good or not...

Naa, looks like the conversion was favorable. No major differences in prices though. Seems like a R10 here and a R50 there drop on some titles.

I meant the card marketplace... $0.08 used to be a good price... Now I have to do math! Urgh!
