    Just something you will get use to, as you did with the values being in Dollars. It should be less confusing now, since you don't have to keep track of the exchange rate.

    Some games have had a big drop, as noted earlier in the thread. It seems some of the pre-orders for Ubisoft games are R300 less.

    My wallet was full of dollars I earned by selling cards, so never needed to do a conversion. It was easy to work out value when everything was in a currency that I was earning in. Now I basically have to start over :P

    Not a big deal, but just a slight annoyance. I will forget the dollar value pretty quickly!

    Noticed that as well, that's likely coming directly from Ubisoft though as they give us Saffas an "emerging markets" discount

    I'm in a similar boat. I have about 50 cards I have to reprice, because the conversation rate Steam used is a bit wonky, it made everything too expensive. On the plus side, I only need R30 more to buy Shadow of Mordor now. Before it would have been R60.

    Even better news, all that cash was made using card money. I don't know why people make badges, selling them can actually get you quite a bit of change. I think I've made over R300 this year selling on the market.

    Valve really needs to add batch remove and batch sell. Only being able to select cards one by one takes forever.

    I think they did that to be safe, peopel would be way more upset if it made it cheaper and all your items sold at that price.

    So i did a thing

    It seems to be that older new releases best to buy on steam, however brand new releases best to get at local retailers.

    Also with this does this mean we will be getting steam wallet funds?

    Not Available for Purchase

    Hi there, last night Steam switched over to my local currency: South African Rand and now there's no buy option for Wolfenstein: The New Order. I'm very keen to get it during the December specials but will only be able to do so if it gets priced in Rand.

    I hope it becomes available to us!

    Done. As the site post suggests, pretty sure they just need to get all the store pricing plugged into their database. The range of games missing prices does seem a bit random though?

    Just note the Raru prices are a bit off on that list.

    FO4 = R601
    BLOPS3 = R687
    JC3 = R515
    Witcher 3 = R479

    Only if pricing is all that matters. There are intangibles to consider. Personally steam services levels vastly superior to the local sharks + steam refunds no matter what as long as you are within 14 days/2 hours played period. Good luck trying to get the local sharks to give you a full refund on a pc game...
