on that note though, something that p!sses me off MAJORLY is when i have to double click the borderlands icon on my desktop and go make some coffee or pour a drink because i know the screen splashes are going to take a ridiculously long time to finish and they wont let you skip it.... now THAT p!sses me off!
but ye, DRM... bring it on, doesn't bother me. doesn't stop piracy either because they usually crack it in a few hours anyway...
conclusion: DRM doesn't deter piracy at all... but it doesn't bother me either. i'll just play my games while they figure out their problems
