Simply, what are some of your favourite game mods? It could be total conversion or simply add some extra content. In some cases, you may have enjoyed the mod more than the original game.
I'm sure there will be more than a few mods mentioned for Bethesda games.
A popular mod among my lanning friends was a simple one that added modern day weapons into COD 5 WAW's Zombies mode. (Link to mod)
Recently, I had a lot of fun with the Just Cause 2 MP mod, especially when it was still in Beta and there was only one server with hundreds of people on it. The races were incredibly well thought out and a lot of fun. (Link to mod)
A list of great mods wouldn't be complete without the Desert Combat mod for BF1942, it felt like a brand new game really. I remeber that piloting helicopters was very challenging but extremely satisfying once you got it right. (Link to mod)
