Cross-platform play gives PC players in Overwatch too much of an advantage

Blizzard confirmed that it would not offer cross-platform play because the nature of the game and cross-platform play gives PC gamers too much of an advantage.

We can’t imagine very many gamers arguing for cross-platform play just so that they can have their ass handed to them on a silver platter.

That's because console peasants cannot shoot accurately in a shooter.

Cross-platform between consoles and PC has never really appealed to me. But I'm sure between PS4 and Xbox One there can be some cross-platform games. It's strange that it's never happened.

Its not that strange if you consider the rivalry

FPS are just so much easier with a mouse... The accuracy is just so much better than with a remote...

It happened a couple of years ago with a title, but was for an exhibition match between two pro teams. The outcome was expected, and that was that.

I'm pretty sure DieGrootHammer meant cross play between two different consoles, not between console and PC.
