I usually game in the evenings once the kids are off to sleep. Lately though I've been so tired in the evenings that I haven't put in much gaming.

Friday evening is dedicated game night! Other than that, couple hours in evening and a tiny bit saturday (saturday is dedicated SO day/night) and sunday...MAYBE in afternoon on a weekday if things are quiet

Headphones are the way to go dude, I even game in bed once the wife falls asleep, but I have a nice wireless surround sound headset, so I can have good audio and not wake her up.

I hear you man. My kid has been sick lately, which makes for some rough nights, so I haven't played anything at all for like a week

I've been wanting to get a pair for that exact reason but they can get quite pricey and I'm a non working student so will have to make do until I can get a pair.

They can be pricey, but if you can deal with cables, wired ones are much cheaper, and Christmas is coming up. I always find it works well to ask people to chip in towards one nice thing instead of getting lots of little things for Christmas or birthdays

edit: Or ask around on the forum if anyone has a an old set they want to sell off...
