    AMD's Radeon Software Crimson Edition has reportedly been locking the fan speeds of many a card, ranging from the HD 7000 series to the 3XX cards, at 20%.

    AMD, what a bunch of knobs. So glad I bought Nvidia this time around.

    Not too long ago NVIDIA straight up turned fans off in their drivers and killed may more cards than this, so it's not like they're any better.

    Yup, which is why I'm always monitoring my fan speeds and temperatures in my rig. It's the quickest way to protect your investment

    I've grown used to having GPU-Z on the second display for testing. It shows GPU and VRAM usage, which I can log into .csv files for analysing later.

    Lol, fuck. Rolling back now. This probably explains why my PC has been so noisy the last few days.
