    Hey folks,

Any of you play LOTRO? Looking to start and I'm trying to figure out which European realm is most populated by South Africans...

When I played the trial I played on Evernight after doing the same research. Evernight seemed the most South African of realms.

Well, it's similar to WoW in many aspects, but Turbine have added their own elements to the mix. It is also well-supported with regular content updates/expansions, and the community seems to be quite steady numbers-wise compared to most MMO's.

Rolled an Elvish Champion on Snowbourn last night. No, I can't remember his name

I've heard that there's little to no endgame?

Last time I tried to play this I had issues with their 3rd party debit site. I had to go through some hoops of fire and I just got bored and uninstalled.

Is setting up the credit card debit still like that? Otherwise I am keen on this game again since I have not played since the original.

Hi all- just to let you know that the comliation pack will shortly be coming to South Africa via Nu Metro/Codemasters- they will be doing a mini re-launch of the game - any question please contact Nu Metro- they will probably be tying up with the launch of the bluray lotr release

I started playing again after seeing the FAIL that is Star Trek online.

I have 2 characters on Snowbourne:

    Trivilas - Lore-master
    Sethuil - Champion.

Spending most of my time on Sethuil for now. The "epic quests" have been written exceptionally well and I'm loving the storyline!

There are constant "book" releases. This week saw Volume 1 of Book 3 launched. Look at it as a free story expansion with no new game features, the expansions in LOTRO only introduce new game mechanics and increase level caps. So the story is continuously unfolding.
