It was and is me you are thinking of. I've really considered getting Drive Club, but I can't shake the feeling that it's just a poor man's Forza. Maybe I'm looking through some extremely rose (or should that be green?) tinted glasses at my prior enjoyment of Forza 2 and 3, or maybe Forza is just that much better than most (all?) other racing games.
I tried reliving those glory moments in Grid 2 and Autosport the past week, but I don't get that sense of satisfaction that Forza gave me. In Forza a change in tires, adjustment of shocks, tweaking of engine power, a different bumper or wing made all the difference in how a car handled and, most importantly, your time around the track. Like [MENTION=4071]BeoTeK[/MENTION] mentioned, I used to find the perfect racing line on a track and tried to shave of milliseconds by postponing hitting the brakes at a corner just before I spin out...
