The last FPS games I played (on PC) and actually enjoyed were Bad Company 2, Singularity and Bulletstorm. The latter 2 being vastly underrated games. I have yet to see that level of originality and rich story driven single player campaign in a FPS game again*
* barring there are such games that I have not played

Shadow Warrior is a lot of fun too, but if you're looking for a rich story you're not going get much there.

Hard Reset is not very good to be honest, Shadow Warrior is WAY better than that. Actually now that I think about it, Shadow Warrior did in fact have a pretty decent story.yeah figured. will give it a go when on leave now.

You can always fire up Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament (hell any one of the UTs) if you want to play a real FPS
Seriously, look at the new UT

Yeah I wouldn't bother with it knowing there are better FPS games out there. Hell, even the Rise of the Triad remake is more fun
