    Obviously I can't take responsibility if anything goes wonky. I just found it and it may be worth trying. Just remember to switch stuff back if it doesn't work

    Have you considered playing something other than Minecraft? jk

    For a moment I got excited because I thought you were playing Minecraft on Ubuntu

    The only advice I have is to check that your GPU is actually on. I get the error you mention a lot, because I forget to hit the turbo button on me Vaio to switch it from stamina to speed mode.

    Also, have you tried using the standard launcher that ships with Minecraft instead of the technic one? Third party apps tend to be buggy sometimes.

    I built a new pc, so its not a worry anymore. I never did find a solution
