While doing the daily queue grind, I noticed this, SimplePlanes. Looked intriguing, then by coincidence a Youtube channel I also follow, had a play session on it.

Looks quite good, not sure if I'll grab it now, but really got some nice potential for some silly and funny adventures. Seems in line with Besiege, Turbo Dismount, and, Kerbal Space Program and Space Engineers (but not as advanced).

Site / game blurp is the following:

Build airplanes by snapping parts together, designing wing sections, and attaching engines. At any time, you can strap yourself into the cockpit and see how it flies with realistic physics. If you're not in the mood for building, over 100,000 airplanes are available to download for free.

I am going to get this before end of the day...I know it. I love aircraft...my weakness...
plus its something my son and I can do! <--- does sound like a good excuse reason to get it?

I am sorry but this looks like shovelware.

I wont say shovelware, I think some development went into it, but, after watching a lot of youtube vids, it seems more like a crash sim or something to make weird flying contraptions that eventually crashes.

I think I will be waiting a bit before getting it...
