This… and a little bit more of this.
Look if you’re not a fan of the franchise or Blizzard games and you merely want to buy the game because the Jones’ bought it then yeah, wait for it to be “bargain binned”.
For fans (and there are millions and millions of them) of these games they generally get their money’s worth. Every Blizzard game has 5+ years of game play in them. They’re still releasing patches for games 10 years old. Tell me… what other company still does that? Couple the fact that online support and performance is well looked after and that servers are (and stay) full for years after release, I just do see a reason to complain.
And yes, I am a Blizzard fanboy. It’s fully justified though. I know between SC2, D3 and WoW I will get 10years of gaming bliss. I’ve lost count how many times I burnt my fingers with console games that only kept me entertained for 2-3days...R700 later. I’ve just paid R325 for C&C4. Red Alert made me fell in love for the genre. But seriously I would’ve paid R500 for C&C4 if they just put some more love into that game. It might be a R100 less than SC2, but it’s still R325 to much.
As for the CE, it’ll probably retail for R800-R1000. If you’re not a fan… stay away. For the fans buying the CE they will get much more than the general “tin case” with a pamphlet paper quality artbook.
