There may be more that are allowed that I've missed, or don't see because they're in DLC that I don't own. But that list should give you a solid idea of the sort of car eligible.
Remember also that these are only cars already in Class S. Just because it isn't on that list doesn't automatically mean you can't use it. If it meets the requirements (Class S, closed canopy, no open wheels, saloon type) it should be good. I'm sure there are many more in the lower classes that could be upgraded to S to make them eligible. I reckon if you're in any doubt, post the car you want to use here and we'll yay or nay it for you.
