the problem with this generation of consoles is that they're really not that big leap from the previous generation, if the 360 and ps3 had more ram they'll probably give these new consoles a run for their money. if you look at dead or alive 4 when it came out on the 360 it was the best looking title available on any platform back in 2005 the same applies to Project gotham 3, those games looked stunning truly next gen there wasnt any pc titles around that looked that good or any pc's capable of running those games if they were to have been ported over.

This generation a game comes out on console and it looks like something an entry to mid range pc will run, there are a few exceptions like driveclub that looks absolutely stunning but then you have to ask what if the current gen consoles had the processing power of high end system like the ps3, 360 had at their launch how much better would/could driveclub or any other current title have looked.
