The above topics are all a bit out dated, I think the most recent is probably the Two Girls one Console @miktikza which should be posting new content soon i hear
It does seem like quite a few have tried the YouTube thing and im not sure if they under estimate the amount of work involved, or if they just lose interest, but there are very few South African YouTube channels, let alone South African Gaming channels... I would love to see more, so if it is something you are interested in you will get a great deal of support here on the forums.
Why do you need a Partner? Just asking why you wouldnt do it yourself? What kind of games will you be playing? What type of content will the channel show? Will it be walkthroughs, or crazy things that happen, or just a highlights channel? You need to come up with a "theme" for your channel and build from there in my opinion...
