    Hi Guys,

Does anyone know of a way to get a certificate from home affairs quicker I applied for my deceased fathers Declaration of citizenship which i need to try and get my passport(German) renewed problem is Home affairs says it takes about 3 months... is there no ways to get it done faster even if i have to pay more (please note i am aware i'm grasping at straws here)

    Not legally no.

Be sure to double check the requirement w/ the embassy though. They're super strict. e.g. 2 b/w copies of everything etc.

Went to the Edenvale Home Affairs today for a passport....holy crap, that place, moved 20 meters in 2hours, I left.

Hope you get it sorted quick.

Give doc assist a call in Cape Town, i know they do birth certificates and passports maybe they can help with this. Costs about R500-600 though.
