Started playing at 14:00 yesterday and played until about 23:00, with an hour break in between. I have gone from not really interested to must make plan to buy it on release.
Quite enjoying it actually. Especially the PvP, which is strange considering I'm more a fan of PvE. I think this is kinda the deciding factor here, the PvP.
I also find the menu system to be very cumbersome. It's like an information overload.
Still, one of my biggest concerns is end game. They haven't come out to say anything about it. And with a level cap of 30 I can see people reaching it very quickly. I juts hope it's for the purpose of the beta.
Will see if I can get a few more hours tomorrow.
I kind of feel the same.
I played it on my own on Friday night, completed the PVE stuff. Thought it was kind of fun, not blown away. Did like the environment.
Saturday re-did the PVE part with a friend who just started, actually found it less fun purely because it was too easy. I suspect that its the 1st couple missions and it will get harder and more enjoyable.
Then entered PVP on my own, really enjoyed that. Like the feeling of getting something cool, and then deciding do I carry on and try find more, or try have it picked up. And then having it picked up and wondering if everyone else here is just as worried as you, or about to kill you for your loot.
This game broke me on Saturday. I might have changed form D1 purchase to maybe not. And all because of goddamn assholes in the goddamn dark zone.
People are assholes. And they should not pick on poor old me. So much loot lost. So many goods squandered. Assholes
Oh so happy steam gave me my funds back.
Something straight off the bat with this latest division was the really really bad latency issues which i didn't experience from the previous beta. Real pity that cause hackers us Africans have to suffer latency issue's.
Was it just a beta weekend or will it continue for a bit ? Was away the weekend so couldn't try it out
