Thread: The Division Thread

    Default The Division Thread

Didnt see any threads dedicated to the beta or the game.

After playing about 3 hours, i am hooked. This will be a D1 buy for me. I love the game, love the interface, love the intense vibes of the dark zone.

Anyone else that fell in love after playing the beta?

I still need to play a little more to make up my mind. Right now it is awesome and I am really enjoying it. Still have to play in the dark zone.

Is it possible to play with someone in the world as well? Or can you only do that in missions and dedicated areas? I haven't grouped with someone and gone out into the streets.

Perhaps we should ask Jan to move this thread to General Gaming, as this is releasing for PC and consoles.

Yes you can go anywhere with someone else, not just missions and dark zone.

A buddy and i played from the start and we were together the whole time. People on your friends list show up as icons on the world map and you can invite them from there to join your group.

Other than that, if you encounter someone in the wild, you can press L3 i think when facing them to invite them to join you.

The only time you will not see someone in your group is when you are in the base of operations. Which makes sense.

Yeah I know the base of operations is for you only.
I haven't encountered a single person "in the wild", so I think it might be instanced to yourself only and you only see someone else if they are in your party.

What is your username on Uplay? I'm Blazzok1 (for some reason Blazzok is taken, but I cant find any log in details for that username)

I'll be following this thread, thanks Talentloos.

It's really getting a great reception from most of the internet it seems. I'm just worried, being a Ubisoft title, it'll probably a massive grind and everything locked behind massive long hauls. I'm also worried how this will affect the single player experience. Much like The Crew, though it is playable in SP it's really not geared for it and a real grind and difficult to do so.

Jan - could we possibly move this to "General Gaming" ? (sorry to be a bother)

Yeah i was with someone the whole time and it was difficult. Will be going at it alone today for a bit to see how it stacks up.

I really wished there was more than one mission in the beta, but i can understand why there is not.

In the end i think it will be close to destiny in terms of playability. Yes, you will be able to go at it alone for most of the time, but its going to be a lot more fun with other people.

Wondering which platform to go if at all, also I'm not gonna get it if I'm playing alone.
