I need your advice please.

It looks as though my old [I have had it ever since I got ADSL and was on a 384k line with a 1Gb cap.] DLink 2640U is to blame for my slow/missing internet [by slow I mean that the line speed was less than what I pay for.] connection over the latter part of the year [Was OK when I tried it with another router.]

I got this quote from a local store [I'm still in East London] yesterday. They currently have the TP-Link TD W8951ND and the NetGear D500-100PES. While the TP Link model is much cheaper at R315.00, the Netgear one [R600] looks to have the least bewildering user interface. [It isn’t as if I am going to be fiddling with advanced network settings-I don’t know what most of the options mean. I am not at the level of competence, and prefer not to be overwhelmed by user interfaces] What do you know about these two brands so far as reliability is concerned?
