    I say give them 6 months to a year for massive price drops so much competition coming out even the LG G5 one of he featured accessories was the VR glasses

    The StarVR is insane... Its got a much wider field of view than all the other headsets... They are trying to take the top of the line VR Headset tag, and are doing so very well in my opinion...

    Its going to come down to marketing... Always does. And unfortunately, Facebook will have the upper hand.

    haha not all dude, just meant in terms of affordability. (you know, us South Africans and the conversion rate to the dollar).

    A while back I saw a headset that instead of putting two screens in front of your eyes, beams light directly into your retinas. Apparently it gives a much crisper image than monitors. Has anyone else heard of this? I've not been able to find any mention of it again.

    Everything you can see beams light directly into your retinas, you'll have to be a bit more specific.

    I mean it doesn't use monitors to produce the image that you see. IIRC they used some kind of laser and mirror combination.
