Default Gears of War: Ultimate Edition PC system requirements released

We have known that Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is coming to the PC for a while, with full DirectX 12 support as well as a big focus on 4K. It looks like the game may finally be on the way as the system requirements have finally been released, including minimum specifications, recommended specifications and a 4K specification for those on the cutting edge of PC gaming.

    Minimum requirements:

an Intel Core i5 or AMD FX-6350,
    8GB of RAM
GTX 650Ti or an AMD R7 260x graphics card.

The recommended specification includes an Intel Core i5 or an AMD FX-8350, 16GB of RAM and a Nvidia GTX 970 or an AMD R9 290x graphics card. Those wanting to play at 4K will obviously need a much higher spec rig, with requirements including an Intel Core i7 4790k or AMD FX eight-core CPU, 16GB of RAM and a Nvidia GTX 980Ti or Radeon R9 390X.

We still don’t have a release date but by the looks of it, the game is set to take full advantage of the PC platform. It is worth noting that this game will only be available on Windows 10, which also likely means that it won’t be on Steam.

They lost me on this the moment I realised it was just the first game, which I completed 3 times already on XBOX 360.

A remastered of the first game basically?

It will probably be nice to play it again with higher textures, but that's it.. just more eye-candy
