My wife didn't either. I woke up from the first one. The second one I was sitting in front of my computer when I felt it and the screen shook a bit. My wife was downstairs and didn't feel a thing.

    Hi all.

I remember being awoken by a tremor back in the 1980s. We lived in Barkly East at the time.

I was given my increaase letter last Thursday. The percentage increase is more than what I expected, given that I have not made progress, but done little more than go through tender advertisements over the past year.

ALso, my employer is re-instating staff bonuses. :-) It should be payed in later this month. It is usually our gross salary without the medical aid and pension fund deduction.
