Updating Firmware on PS3 for Bad Company 2

Hey all

I bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 on Friday only to find out that my PS3 Version (3.05) is older than what the game needs (3.15 i think)

Any idea on what the download size will be for such an update? Just want to confirm this since I will be using a friends Internet Connection..hopefully maximum will be around 400 MB?

Firmware updates are usually under 200Mb, so you'll be alright

200Mb for Firmware? Seriously?
Look, I've only got a PS2, but 200Mb sound uber huge for firmware, sounds more like firmware plus OS Software

Nope not a chance ;[ It just gives the message that the firmware is out of date with the current version and what is needed.. Gonna update it today. Craving to play already!

weird...usually new games update firmware, because its on disc.

Tekken 6 for instance installed 3.15 on my system.

When they say firmware its mostly O/S updates.

I think the firmware is around 150MB.
