Default Nvidia's Plans for the Future

I am not sure who else is excited about what is to come from Nvidia in the near future, but I sure as hell am!!

Their new Pascal Processors will be 10 x More powerful and efficient than the maxwell!

There has not been much released concerning exact card specs, release dates and so on(Apparently announcements coming July). But I will be keeping my ears and eyes wide open!

Well if their drivers are anything like the previous package which was pulled, there won't be much of a future!

I wonder if the large increase in performance will be immediately available or will they nerf it and release it in segments to make more money, i.e if the increase is that huge you would assume that the next entry/ medium level card could match or beat the GTX970 at a cheaper price say equivalent to what you would pay for a gtx960 or 950.

    Nope
They'll be incredibly efficient but from what I've seen most likely 20-30% faster at the very top of the range (Think $750-$1200)

Just curious to see if the prices will drop upon Pascal release, if at all.

This should imply that the three high-speed GPUs will debut in the near future: GP100 in April, and GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 in June 2016, and the downgrade version of GP100 in June 2017.

Not really excited TBH, whenever they say 10x, I read it as 2.5 extra frames on game X.
Plus with the Moore's law struggling to hold weight, i'm not expecting great fantastic things.
Feels like another Chinese audio equipment sale (Now with 2000 watts *pmpo) meanwhile you are getting 200 watt RMS.
