What games would you have your company make and why?

I would make city building management games in the style of Caesar and Pharaoh. It is games that I really miss, simcity is okay but I actually prefer those city builders.

I would say that city building is suited just to PC.

I don't think cross play could work.

High contrast bright colours, not specifically cartoony but relatively illustrative.

I'd want the city builder game to be AAA

One thing that might be cool is to have two games in one maybe. Like you're the city builder but then another multiplayer game can happen within your city. Like you're getting the birds eye view and building and maybe within the city streets there could be a FPS or assassin creed style game within your city.

small dev company usually = Limited budget

so i would start with side or top scrolling shooters. you can repeat/tile alot of textures, you dont need to have the smartest of ai's etc

Telltale type adventure games. I love those and there aren't enough being made.

We'll only make single player games.

It would depend on the game. Hmmm. I have a look in mind for a certain game though. Can't really think of any example games that use that look though. I know of one that's in development and got the shader from them last year if I ever want to use it myself.

Indie most likely. The smaller the team the more love we can put into the project.
