So there's this little game called Factorio that has been getting a bit of attention from reviewers lately and it sounded like and interesting concept:
Factorio is a game in which you build and maintain factories.
You will be mining resources, researching technologies, building infrastructure, automating production and fighting enemies. Use your imagination to design your factory, combine simple elements into ingenious structures, apply management skills to keep it working and finally protect it from the creatures who don't really like you.
Screenshots of the game can look really confusing with all the various machines and conveyor belts etc. but the game does a good job of introducing you slowly to all the elements and before you know it you have a fairly complex setup going.
I tried out the demo and it gives you a good idea of how the game works - and it's a lot of fun, the "how on earth did it get so late" kind of fun. Thinking about buying the game with my Steam funds, even though it's at full price (R220 on Steam)
