    slot for the common TV aerial.

    Monitors generally don't have that slot.

    It's a monitor guys.
    They already have a 40" in the country that retails for around R14 000 inc vat. Still using a tn panel though so I would give it a skip.

    Are you referring to the 40"? The article says this screen has an IPS panel.

    To me it comes down to pixel density. TVs traditionally have low ones so you have to sit far away. Since this is 4k it'll have decent density so I'd consider it a monitor.
