Oh yes, I remember one particularly awkward one now...
Back when I was in school, probably around grade 8, we had our athletics day. Our school was really stingy on time, though, so we had half a day of school, then the rest of the day until like 4 was for athletics. They could get away with that as we were a small school... Anyway, they'd told everyone to come in the PE gear, but in previous years we'd gone directly to the venue instead of having half a day of school, and could wear what we wanted. Needless to say, I rocked up looking like I was going to the beach, whilst everyone else minus a few other victims were kitted out in the PE gear. I felt like such a fool ><
It wouldn't have been so bad if our school wasn't hectically strict on uniforms and hadn't made such a big deal of my little mishap. It doesn't sound too embarrassing but my goodness I still hang my head in shame at the thought of it
