I've been moved back over to NAG Online for now and I've totally got time to play games again, so it's cool.

Wow that was real quick from MyGaming....thanks for the official update.

It's sad to see such a dispute coming in the way of the website.

OK good. I'm glad to see that it's not impacting you negatively.

I bet they did, but I'm sure that the ZAR freefall wasn't predicted when the contract was drawn up. I imagine it went something like this:

IGN International: "IGN Africa, your license fees are due"
IGN Africa: "Please give us a discount on licensing this year, our currency is in the toilet"
    IGN Internation: "No"
    IGN Africa: "Pretty please"
IGN International: "No, and if you don't pay us now, you may not continue to publish under our name"
    IGN Africa: "Pretty pretty please"
    IGN International: "..."

This thread and the fact that we've got no power at home really makes me want to emigrate. My wife was so against emigration but after the last couple of months even she is thinking that we should maybe just go.

Dude, try staying in Witbank. I've had more days with no electricity in the last year and a half than all my other 29 years totaled up. Then we have shit water as well, dirty air, and worst of all, I have to live in Witbank. But emigrate?! Fuck that!

I don't know how you do it. I'd most definitely not want to live in Witbank. Maybe I should try the Cape. It looks like it's going better there than here.

But then I can actually get a VR headset in New Zealand. Plus there's no politicians messing with the rugby. I'll have electricity and good internet. I won't struggle to renew my license. The only sucky thing is starting anew. I don't know if I have the energy for that at this point.
