Xbox 360 17" vs 23" LCD monitor

So I just recently purchased a 23" LCD with HDMI, yet to collect it I was using a 17" boxed LCD monitor which was rather painful to play on. What differences can I expect with this change?

Dude i was the same as u except went to a 24"

Funny thing While playing FFXIII i switched form my 32" LCD TV to my 24" LCD Monitor and was surprised by a visible reduction is picture quality. I used component cables for the tv and vga cables for the monitor.
