AMD has announced three new Polaris cards that promise not to be a burden on your wallet.

I'm pretty sure most have eyes peeled for the 480's bigger sibling, even though I'm not interested in getting one, I'd sure like to see how it compares to the 1080.

I doubt even the high-end Polaris cards will be able to compete with the GTX 1080. The Polaris GPUs are aimed at the mid-range market and look to offer superior price-performance for VR.

If we want to see a card that will directly compete with the GTX 1080, we'll probably have to wait for AMD's Vega architecture.

121fps on Overwatch at 1080p is impressive for a sub $200 card.
