    R6000 is probably the price of some of the Custom boards, the reference card should hopefully cost a little less.

    I'm looking at the RX 470 probably so will be around R 4000 for the 4Gb model and R 4500+ for the 8Gb.

    Other than that those prices are F*cking ridiculous!

    I'd rather import one from Amazon. I'm not gonna pay anywhere near R6000 for the RX480 8GB.

    R6k.. that is a bit disappointing. was expecting R5k

    Bloody hell that's expensive for a $250 card... Still, good performance for around R6k.

    Well this wasn't expected but the main reason for the pricing is as follows.

    The $199-$229 pricing that has been doing the rounds is only for North America.
    Our suppliers are buying these cards at roughly $260-$300.
    Unfortunately we don't really matter to AMD/Nvidia. The market is small so we can't really expect to be paying, North American pricing.
