Huge Mad Max fan (Original Trilogy) and I really enjoyed the game. The side quests do become very repetitive and i stopped doing them after the 2nd map. The main story isn't that interesting but its fun driving around and causing chaos and looking for salvage to upgrade your car.

Oh yeah and it's one of the few games where hand to hand combat feels just right. Very similar to the Batman games.

IMHO, I lost interest in Borderlands halfway through nr 2, I bought Mad Max but haven't played a lot. From what I've read and heard about it, it mirrors what Apollo said.

Two similar games that come to mind that I am enjoying is The Witcher 3 and Shadow Of Mordor.

Not sure if this was posted before somewhere else, anyway, might help you since your 3rd option is "Something else".

Naa, I really can't decide. I mean I love Borderlands. Then again the idea of Mad Max is enticing and it seems like a fantastic game.

Sure Mad Max has some flaws and some say it's boring as fuck, I will also agree that it does get repetitive in it's mission structure. But it's on-the-wheels fights are amazing and well polished. The biggest thing to me is how the world has been reimagined. The detail and art sirection is just fantastic. Really a beautiful world to just explore.

    I love it!
