I have a dillema. I only have budget for one big shooter on PC this Christmas. I am looking for something that will last me a year without having to constantly fork out for DLC to stay current. Preferably it also needs a decent local following to encourage better game play options.
My options are:
Star Wars Battlefront - I played the beta, enjoyed it, but never got into it. I am a big Battlefield fan and played 3 forever! Just not sure how long the Star Wars skin will stay appealing. Co-op will count in its favour.
Black Ops III - Only ever played Modern Warfare online and am not the world's best twitch gamer. That said the zombies are fun (on console split screen is my only experience) and I live for co-op. Also heard mods are coming back with dedicated servers!
Rainbow 6 Siege - played the beta a lot, loved it. Shorter rounds and lots of variety, but not sure if local gamers will flock to it like the other two. Also has co-op!
Battlefield 4 Premium (Outsider chance) - Loved BF3, played a bit of BF4 with the week of Origin Game Time. At least I know what I am getting into. These days it can be had for R200 and will have change left for the DLC. Is anyone still playing it? Will they be paying it all of next year?
No shooter at all - get Fallout 4, Mad Max, Assassins Creed or Just Cause 3. You know, because shooters suck.
