Yeah I agree with [MENTION=9789]DieGrootHammer[/MENTION], sales are a privilege, not a right. You don't like the sale? Don't buy it then. There may not have been such big discounts on AAA games as there were in the past, but the indie specials have been amazing. I bought a heck of a lot in the first week and am really happy about it.
