Default Assistance with 144hz Monitor

Hi All

I'm looking at getting a 144hz monitor soon.
Currently I'm budgeting around R4000 - R5000 and would like some input.

I've checked all the local boys such as Evetech and RebelTech.

Their used to an LG 144hz monitor on the market but I see its EOL now

So any help would be much appreciated

So are you looking specifically for the LG that is now EOL or are you wanting an alternative?

Judging by your price range you're looking for 24 inches?

Have you considered BenQ, I been hearing some great stuff about them.

Also, have you considered a 120Hz?

Esquire has the AOC monitor for your budget range . 144hz gaming. I simply cant recall the model number but its Round R4500 odd inc vat. R4999 at retail. Very good monitor.

Then the LG I saw next to mine and i could not tell the difference in quality. I have an asus VG248QE that at the time of purchase was rated better than the BenQ 144hz. It would cost you R3000 odd more to get it but im telling you now i can not tell the difference between the two.

I have several friends running that Evetech LG and never had issues.Their service has been exceptional every time ive purchased from them as well.

Heard of them and checked. They are very good but WAY out of my price range.

I have but I'd rather stick with 144hz.

Thanks man.
Will check the AOC.

Unfortunately the LG monitor you referring to is EOL, can't find it anywhere.

I have a Ben1 144hz and can't go wrong. Just make sure, whatever screen you buy, that is has the latest firmware, especially LG and Benq.
I am still waiting for the Braai that you pormised me on Overwartch CrAiGiSh. I might have someone selling a secondhand LG 144hz. Will confirm price for you if you are interested

Hahah, indeed man

That would be awesome, as Cranky sent me a mail. It seems there is a special on the following monitor and will most likely go for it:
