PS3 and Monitors/Speakers

Hey guys. Me wants to get a PS3

I am a console Noob. This will be my first console since my Nes/Snes.

To all the PS3 Guru's. O' wise one I have a Samsung 2333SW and I have a Roccat Kave Headset/Logitech 2.1 speakers. Will I need any extra devices to connect this to a PS3?

I want to get the Gow 3 + 250gb Combo.

I actually should have named this Kyubi's noob questions. I can't find the PS3 FAQ.

* What good games can I play on my PS3?
* Can I play games online with a 384Kbs account? or do I have to have a 4mb line?

At the moment my PS3 is arriving with God of War 3. I have a few more questions but I think of them at the moment.

Little Big Planet
Heavy Rain
God of War 1-3

That's all I want really, but I guess there are other games like the latest Metal Gear Solid and Grand Tourismo (should be available before the apocolypse....... probably). I'm not really into those tho.

I think I am going to get GOW 1+2. My mates has Uncharted 1+2. I will borrow those.
