I'm really excited to see what that console is capable of, could give Sony a run for its money.

You can get a free kinect V2 adapter for the PC if you upgrade to this new console. I kinda want that adapter..

You register old Xbox one, new S one and the Kinect V2 to your account, then they'll send you one.
Can always remove the devices afterwards then sell the Xbox One.

    Otherwise it's $40

Is the One S just a smaller version? Like an Xbox mini?

Not entirely. The Xbox One S has a slightly better GPU giving about 10% increase in processing power in games. That translate to about 5 FPS in games that aren't locked, or a much stabler performance at the locked FPS rate of the game.

The Xbox One S also upscales certain games to 4k resolution, and also has a built in 4k Blu-ray player, capable of playing native 4k videos and streams. The console also has HDR capabilities that only works on certain TV sets, but makes certain games prettier.

The console is also smaller by 40%, the power brick is built into the console, and it comes with a new revised controller. The controller isn't all that different, but more refined.

    It's also white...so there's that.
