Anyone planning on getting this? I can't decide if I should get it or not. It doesn't look like the next best thing, but it doesn't look too bad either. It also isn't getting the best reviews, but they do say that it is a lot of fun. I wish I could play the game somewhere before forking out cash for it ...
So I gave in and bought this yesterday. Really enjoying it so far, the story and voice acting aren't the best around but the game is a hell of a lot of fun. Combat is really brutal, there is nothing more satisfying then stomping on a guys face and then shooting him in it It's a really fun over-the-top action game with some awesome over-the-top violence. The parts where you play with Shadow are also pretty cool and his stealth takedowns are insane. Haven't played enough of it to judge the game as a whole, but so far I'm really having a lot of fun playing around with the combat system.
lol, I'll let you know when I'm done with it. Think I might give it a second playthrough when I'm done with it though, it really is a lot of fun. And it's not like Just Cause where the novelty wears off, even though the combat is repetitive I still enjoy doing takedowns and shooting people in the face in slow-motion.
