Please help.
Which to choose between:
Genius G700v 7.1 channel Cavimanus - Gaming Heaset
or
Thrustmaster Doom Headset- Y-300CPX

If it were me, i'd go with the Genius set. It concerns me that the Thrustmaster set doesn't give any specs other than their 50mm driver which doesn't mean much if the product is designed for a particular purpose, XBox in this case. If all they've done is to build the unit for Xbox optimisation then I think you may be a tad disappointed when using it for anything other than that.

The Genius doesn't have a problem listing the specs for their headset as well as the mic and from what I can tell, those're some fairly decent specs. The fact that you get surround sound with it is a nice bonus too.

Thank you! I have definitely made my decision now. I also found it strange I couldn't find specs on it. I quite liked the Thrustmaster but had doubts. I think I will go with the Genius. Thank you again
