I'm not surprised. One introduces new ideas and concepts while the other is basically just a reskin.

My sentiments exactly. I am just not as excited for the Battlefield games anymore, as I used to be.

I've been a BF veteran from BF2 to BF4 and the biggest deciding factor for me is that over all those titles my total play time in each has progressively declined, it says something and resonates with me that it's time to give the franchise a break.

Have to go with Battlefield on this one :S Haven't been a fan of any CoD reskins since they went into modern warfare. Churning out the same thing each year. Co-Op zombies is fun though.

Gamers are excited for the free remaster of COD 4, that you only get when you buy a really expensive copy of infinite warfare

As for single player, the entire battlexxxx series has been a massive let down.
As for COD, thats the reason we've been playing it, pretty much all of them have been awesome: COD1,2,MW,MW2,mw3,BO,BO2,BO3,etc

As for MP, for our group of friends, COD dropped dedicated server and I hate matchmaking (advances warfighter from the day it was bought till today can't find servers on our machines) and Brokenfield4 has been plagued by net code issues, hardline was more like Lameline. Batllefront has bulldozer matchmaking crap also. Server browser is always welcoming to see.
    I miss the cod4 & bf3 days.

Not surprising. Battlefield has been aping CoD more and more anyways. Just go look at which BF maps are the most popular and you'll see why I'm not buying any more Battlefield games.
