Forza Horizon 3

So I haven't seen a thread for this, but this will probably be Day1 purchase for me. As anyone here would know, I'm a huge Forza fan.

So here's some details about the latest iteration:

Forza Horizon 3 is an upcoming racing video game developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios. The game is scheduled to be released in September 2016 for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One, featuring cross-platform play.

yeah, thinking of getting digital to take advantage of this.

Standard, Deluxe or Ultimate edition? I'm probably going Standard at this point on the assumption that all the cars included are enough to satisfy my speed needs, and with the hope that I'll add the Car Pass at the end of the year if I'm enjoying the game.

Standard more than likely, just not sure as yet if I want to get physical or digital. I'm sure standard editions allotted cars will suffice, normally has been in my experience. Granted I may buy a specific car pack if I'm that passionate about them, but >300 odd cars or sure plenty.

I'm thinking as this is one of the first MS Play Anywhere titles it shouldn't really matter should it? Either you'll have 2 separate downloads to do, one to PC and one to XB1. Or if you go with the XBox physical copy, I assume your disk will come with some sort of code to enable playing it on the PC (obviously after you download the PC version.) Or am I assuming too much?

I think if you get digital versions you will have access to PC and Xbox versions downloadable. If I buy physical I can only use it on Xbox, this is the way I understand it. The purpose for getting physical for me is purely for collection purposes.

Windows 10 users will need the latest version of the operating system and 55GB free hard drive space. 12GB RAM, 4GB VRAM and a 3.6GHz CPU also come as recommended, according to the game's official site.

As for graphics cards, you'll want an NVIDIA GTX 970 or 1060, or an AMD R9 290X or RX 480.

Microsoft has also promised adjustment options for motion blur, mirrors, reflection, static and dynamic geometry.

Forza Horizon 3 is part of the new Xbox cross-platform initiative - meaning you only need one copy to play on PC and Xbox One. Your friends on either platform can also play together.
